Family Lifestyle Sessions
(Family, Maternity, Couple, Children)
Outdoor Lifestyle sessions are booked around sunset and that “golden hour”, and are designed to capture happy smiles and natural, authentic moments between loved ones. We can blow bubbles, pick flowers, dance, joke around, and create lasting memories. Your session will take place at nearby parks, natural areas, urban settings, or another location of your choice.
In-Home Lifestyle sessions are all about your family and how you interact with each other in your home. These are fully (loosely) planned. Family, children, couples, and maternity sessions will be based on the activities you enjoy doing together at home, whether it’s baking cookies, playing games, jumping on the bed, wrestling in the living room, reading by the fire or building with blocks. We come out to you ahead of the session to see the space, lighting, setup and help you determine where you’d like us to have the session.
With all sessions, we are happy to provide you with complimentary styling advice! We can create vision boards based on your style and give suggestions on what colors to wear based on seasons and/or preferences.
A $150 deposit (non-refundable) is due at booking to secure your date and goes toward your session fee.
Investment and Creative Fee
Our Family and Children sessions are $500, which includes up to 1.5 hour of photography fun, your images delivered via an online link for sharing, and a thumb drive for keeping. We will also assist you in ordering any prints and will pass on our deep discounted pricing from a professional site. If you desire an album, we are delighted to offer our design services and printing at discounted costs to you.
Senior sessions are $375.
Maternity and Newborn sessions are offered as a money-saving package of $500. Both sessions run for 45 minutes, and we can visit you in the hospital or at your home a few weeks after the birth. The best newborn photos happen when they can stay awake and really connect with their family, so we suggest waiting until around week 2-4, to also give Mom some time to recover from delivery.
Christine suggests booking your session sooner rather than later ~ in most cases, giving 3-4 weeks in advance will be sufficient. A $150 deposit (non-refundable) is due at the time you book your session in order to reserve your date (and rain date). This is applied to your session, with the remaining balance being applied the day of.
Pre-Shoot Consultation
Prior to your photo session with us, Christine will meet or call you to discuss the details of your upcoming portrait experience so we are set up for a successful and fantastic time on the day of your session! During the consultation, Christine will listen to you talk about we can do to tell your story. We go over location options, weather, time, ideas, outfits, style, and any other questions you have regarding the session. Christine will talk about the feel you want for your images, look at some samples, and discuss how your session images may be used in your home decor to ensure we capture images that meet your design needs. We will discuss ways to display your portraits and answer any questions you have about cost. Having a plan for what to do with your images once we have them is key to your ultimate satisfaction with your family portrait experience.
Christine’s prep work is extremely important and makes the session day go smoothly ~ which means less stress for you, and more fun for you and your family! We want your portrait session and images to meet your needs and exceed your expectations.
